Description

This bag came from my love of Jane Austen, fostered from a young age.  I made the pattern based on pictures from Regency fashion plates.

This bag was created as a bit of a stash buster.  I didn’t have quite enough embroidered cotton left to make a third fully floral bag, so I added a side of quilting cotton that reminded me of Jane Austen movies from the 70s and 80s and voila!  Here she is.  100% cotton, with half the outside being quilting cotton, half embroidered, and the inside bee quilting cotton.  Jute rope forms the handle on this one, instead of the indeterminate gold rope.

Use as a wrist bangle or hang from your belt!  Useful as a money purse, makeup bag, or crafting pouch!
